Hi, that was a great post that you made on today's news item: "Demise of small Hess refinery threatens U.S. East Coast pump pain" You also have a very cool avatar picture here. Want to become buddies??? Warren :-)

Wishing you and your family and very Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2013

You are right on> Remember 2008 when the price dropped over $2.0 between June and the end of the year! -- -- -- -- The title to the article, "Private sector, not government, tames fuel prices" is a BOLD-FACED lie! There is no private sector in dictator countries which supply crude and control world prices! Get a grip! Saudi Arabia is an absolute monarchy = dictator! They run the pumps faster, and the supply increases! Get an education folks! Why do they run the pumps faster? World governments are in league with one another! Law of supply and demand reigns supreme! The supply pumps are controlled by the governments of the world! ...not the private sector! The reality is "World Governments control the Prices, NOT the Private sector!"

Thanks for the comment!! I don't have an answer to your question but I have a theory - the earth naturally goes through cycles, some warm some cold, similar to seasons. In the time span of the earth seasons can last a very long time. Just as spring always follows the freeze of the winter and eventually turns into winter again. Just my theory. I would like to see people use their intelligence instead of just believing everything they are told.

Thank you for the nice comment. I generally try to be somewhat perspective in my comments and occasional rants on gasbuddy. I am a professional transportation planning consultatnt working for a very large engineering firm. I deal with this stuff on a daily basis and and try to stay on top of anything to do with things that affect transportation. I only wish thy would allow people to reply directly to a comment on gasbuddy and start a thread for discussion because I think we all could learn a lot.

Thank you. Now if we can simply get the other 200 million to recognize the 'tax on corporations' for what it is, we might restore some sanity to this once-great country. But don't waste your time on libs/progs - they are beyond 'hope to change.'
