The Magic want to much for Howard. I think the Nets offered 3 or 4 first round picks. I really think that Howard is going to screw the Magic big time in this. He will play this year for the Magic and opt-out at the end of the year. So the Magic will get nothing for him. I am actually thinking that no team will give the Magic what they want. But I guess we will wait and see...

Lakers don't need him. I think Bynum is a little better at least at the free throw line.

Houston wants him but at what price? Who will be there to play with him? And he will not sign a long term deal with Houston either.

What a horrible trade for the magic. Way worse than the overturned Chris Paul trade.

So this is what the Magic wind up with: 3 low first-round draft picks and a bag of beans! And after turning down the earlier, much more lucrative offer from the Nets. Talk about horrid mismanagement from the Magic!

Looks like the Dwightmare is finally over! Howard goes to the Lakers in a 4-team deal.

Can't wait 'til the Lakers visit the Magic Kingdom!

Howard skips own youth camp. But he isn't hurt badly enough to skip a Dodgers game!

And the PR Dwightmare just keeps getting worse!

37 year old 2 time NBA champion with the SPURS. Will he be able to influence Howard? I suspect that is one of the reasons for hiring him.

I just saw that Howard said that he would be willing to sign an extension if traded to the Lakers. Is Orlando willing to take on Bynum or does Cleveland or Houston need to be involved in the trade?

I have been saying this for a while now. He will end up staying in Orlando at least this season and next season he will be unrestricted. Again Orlando should have taken the deal with the Nets earlier this summer. Waiting for the Magic fans to start burning Howard jerseys like they did James.

Looks like the Knicks will not match the Rockets mega-offer to Lin. Which means Lin will head to Houston and they won't have enough $$$ left to offer Howard.

Looks like Howard is stuck in Orlando.

I can't believe that the Rockets would strip their club to get Howard with no guarantee beyond the current year.

yeah C.S. the Rockets will have to gut their roster to get Howard. So the Rockets would send the Magic like 9 players plus having to cut 1 player only to receive Howard plus 3 or 4 other players back. Another offer that makes no sense at all. Magic just want too much. Should have just taken the Nets offer.

The Magic can't possibly start next season with Howard. He's just too far gone. And they definitely should've taken the offer from the Nets. Now Howard's value will do nothing but go down and Orlando will eventually get a worse deal.

Both sides are to blame for this mess. The Magic for holding out for too much, and Howard for waffling constantly about whether or not he wants to stay. He's now looking much worse than LeBron did when he left Cleveland.

I heard about the Magic, Lakers and Rockets trying to workout a 3-way trade to move Howard to the Lakers and Bynum to the Rockets.
