Once suppliers actually register a 15% ethanol blend with the EPA, it will probably be a long time before E15 is seen in many parts of the country. Unless a station already sells E85 and has blender pumps, the station would need to dedicate one of their storage tanks to the E15 blend. There are no E85 pumps in my area because there is so little public demand for the product. I assume the same will apply for E15.

The way that EPA wrote the regulations, the EPA requires that manufactures must submit a fuel to the EPA for approval before they allow it to be sold. As of August 10, no manufacturer has done so.

Even if it is submitted to the EPA, don't expect to see E15 anytime soon at your local gas station. More likely would be E85 with a blender pump.

Although 15% ethanol is not allowed by the EPA, I am not aware of any place that will be requiring 15% ethanol so it will probably be up to the individual stations.

I'm hoping obama will rescind this also to gain more votes...
Not many Americans are for this... Ethanol industry has the quandry of the warranty issue so how will that be addressed?
